Ariana Grande is 0 for 2 when it comes to the proper translation on her new tattoo.
Grande posted a picture of her latest ink on her Instagram account, a Japanese tattoo on her palm, that was supposed to translate to ‘7 Rings,’ the name of her new song. The artist performing the work forgot some characters which gave the markings an entirely new meaning: Japanese BBQ Grill.
Grand went back to get the error fixed and it’s better but it’s still wrong. In an updated picture, Grande added the following caption.
“slightly better. thanks to my tutor for helping me fix and to @kanenavasard for being a legend. and to my doctor for the lidocaine shots (no joke). rip tiny charcoal grill. miss u man. I actually really liked u.”
Now it means “Japanese BBQ finger.”
