With R Kelly being exposed for his behavior, many more people that were associated with him are now taking some heat. One of those people that is feeling the effects is Damon Dash. Now Dash wasn’t entirely associated with Kelly, in fact he simply dated Aaliyah after her marriage with R Kelly. Her death really hit her hard and the whole R Kelly ordeal hasn’t helped one bit.
Dash was seen on the red carpet at WeTV’s “Hip Hop Thursday’s” event and was asked a question about the now popular R Kelly documentary. He reacted by storming off the red carpet and leaving others puzzled. As you’d think though, R Kelly is a tough subject because of his relationship with Aaliyah.
“When media outlets asked him to comment…he became visibly upset and stormed off the carpet.”
As you can see, it’s a tough subject for Dash to talk about. It gets even more tougher when numerous people are in your face asking about that particular subject 24/7. Let’s all hope Damon can find peace surrounding this subject and he can comfortably talk about it later on.
