The biggest storyline this offseason in college football is Jalen Hurts.
Where will he go?
Well, today the former Crimson Tide starting quarterback visited Maryland. On the surface this may seem random, but it’s not at all. Mike Locksley, who spent his last three years alongside Hurts in Tuscaloosca is the new Terrapins head coach.
A source close to Inside MD Sports claims the two have a family type of bond.
“He’s super comfortable around [Locksley]. He’s like a second father to him,” the source said.
Other schools in the running for the services of Hurts are Oklahoma, Miami, and TCU.
During Hurts tenure at Bama, he completed 62.8 percent of his passes for 5,481 yards and 46 touchdowns. The Houston native also ran for 22 touchdowns.
If Hurts ends up choosing Maryland, he would instantly slide in as their leader under center.
