While Manny Pacquiao was preparing for a pay-per-view showdown, burglars were helping themselves to his property.
KTLA 5 News in Los Angeles reports that Pacquiao’s Larchmont area home was broken into around the same time he was preparing to enter the ring and fight Adrien Broner in Las Vegas.
Los Angeles Police Department public information officer Tony Im said a burglary occurred around 4:15 p.m. Saturday.
He said suspects ransacked the location and took property, and that nobody was home at the time.
Pacquiao went on to defeat Broner by unanimous decision and maintain the WBA world welterweight title. Broner says he believes he was victorious in the fight.
