Did Michael Blackson Tell BSO He’s In the Coming to America Sequel? Here’s Who He’d Want to Play His Leading Lady (Video)

Is Michael Blackson in the Coming to America sequel? Or is it wishful thinking?

BSO caught up with Blackson at the Manny Pacquiao media workout in Los Angeles (Manny Pacquiao fights Adrien Broner in a pay-per-view fight on January 19 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas) and we asked him what reboot project he would like to be attached to and he said, you guessed it, Coming to America.

Blackson says in his version, he’d have to be the son of Akeem or Semmi and he’d also be looking for his queen in America. And who would make a better queen than Rihanna?

Blackson told us that on the 10th. Today BSO reported on the details surrounding the new Coming to America storyline, and it goes something like this.

In the sequel, Akeem learns about a long lost son and must return to America to meet his unlikely heir to the throne of Zamunda. The intention is to bring back the original cast which includes Arsenio Hall, who played the prince’s aide Semmi, Shari Headley, who was courted by the prince when he went undercover as a fast food worker, John Amos, who played her father, and James Earl Jones, who played the king.

Could be a coincidence. But since you’re here, here are some pictures of Rihanna modeling the Valentine’s Day edition of her Savage Fenty lingerie line.
