Anthony Davis was expected by many to be traded to the Lakers at the deadline but that didn’t happen. The Pelicans were perfectly fine with letting time pass as they wanted a deal that would happen on their terms.
Davis is scheduled to be a free agent in 2020 but that doesn’t mean that he won’t get traded this summer. The Lakers, Bucks, and Celtics are among his list of teams. He didn’t rule out playing in New York either as he praised the idea of playing in Madison Square Garden, per the New York Daily News. The Celtics were previously out after his dad didn’t approve of how they got rid of Isaiah Thomas but they are on the list now.
In the end though, Davis said all 29 other NBA teams are on his list. He wants to go somewhere and win, regardless if it’s a small or big market. Flip the page to check out AD discussing trade rumors.
