The background of MVP Patrick Mahomes has been well documented throughout the season. His dad played professional baseball and Patrick had the same opportunity, but he chose football instead.
However, it doesn’t stop there for Mahomes.
A video surfaced of Mahomes playing basketball at some rec gym earlier this week and he looks to have some game.
Mahomes pulled up to a Lifetime and cooked everybody 😳

The move was nice, but it made Chiefs Kingdom nervous to say the least. There’s nothing wrong with having fun and all.
Unfortunately, when you’re a franchise quarterback in the National Football League, playing basketball against some random guys isn’t an ideal situation for the franchise.
Chiefs general manager, Brett Veach, put a quick end to this.
Chiefs GM Brett Veach, on KC radio station WHB, said he called Patrick Mahomes' agent after seeing the recent video of him playing basketball. "The Kingdom can be assured: No more basketball for Pat . . . We were able to nip that in the bud,'' Veach said.
