Georgia businessman Ketan Shah is on the run after scamming people of up to $1 million in fake Super Bowl tickets, according to WSB-TV. Victims also include friends and family members.
Shah said they’d all get the best seats and then vanished after getting the money upfront. One person paid $20,000 and another paid $500,000. He also did his mom wrong as she paid him $36,000.
What was promised by Shah to friends and family were all 100 level seats in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, all-access to a concierge lounge and getting into Super Bowl parties all around Atlanta.
Shah’s mom called the police on him. His wife ended up reporting him missing to police once he was done with the scams. Expect more of these cases over the course of this weekend. Flip the page for news video of the scamming by Ketan Shah.
