LeBron James selected his 2019 All Star teammates this past week on Thursday, but still couldn’t avoid the “recruiting” questions after. His selections for his team only seemed to fuel those questions even more.

3 of his selected starters are all impending free agents for this summer and all 3 have had connections to the Lakers as the season has gone on. Kyrie Irving was a former teammate of Lebron’s and reports have came out that have suggested that Kyrie wouldn’t mind playing with the King again. Klay Thompson could be leaving if the Warriors don’t hand over the dough with the Lakers looming with a chance to sign him. Kevin Durant has a player option and is expected to opt opt out of it this summer, with his rumored destination being the New York Knicks. But don’t ask him about his own free agency.
Even LeBron’s first bench pick, Anthony Davis, has came out publicly saying he wants to be a Laker.
You’d expect questions to come regarding LeBron’s recruitment of these talented players, but LeBron shut those down real quick.
