Luke Walton’s job just gets harder and harder each day.
After getting waxed by the Pelicans yesterday, the Lakers team bus apparently left without their own head coach.
So this was interesting. I was talking to some SKC staffers I know as the Lakers’ team bus is pulling off. Suddenly, Luke Walton comes around the corner. Bus gone. It had to come back for the coach. Damn shame. pic.twitter.com/uy0HX7XYIS

Boy I just feel bad for Luke Walton. The Lakers took a good step forward last season under his guidance. But not without criticism from Lakers fans for his rotations and the way the young core had developed. He then is put under the microscope immediately because of the signing of LeBron James.
Walton hasn’t been perfect, but we have to cut the guy some slack……right?

Contrary to an early story now removed from the NBC's site, Luke Walton did not miss the Lakers bus back to the hotel last night. He was on a later bus.
