We were caught off guard today with the news that Colin Kaepernick and the NFL reached a settlement on Kapernick’s collusion case. I for one wasn’t expecting Colin to settle with the league, but since he did, the NFL must have a lot of damning evidence they want to keep quiet. With this type of news, comes a lot of reactions from both sides of the debate.
Some believe Kaepernick sold out and didn’t stick the fight for something so crucial to American society. Others thought this was a loss for the NFL, as the news hit the Twitter verse on an early Friday afternoon. What does that mean? Typically, it means the NFL wanted to get out ahead of this news and move on from it as fast as possible.
Ex-NFL running back Larry Johnson and had plenty to say about the settlement and as you guessed, the words weren’t positive.
