Could Rob Gronkowski be headed to the WWE?
Now that the former Patriots TE has free time on his hands a foray in to the wrestling business may be his next big move.
WWE Superstar Becky Lynch though isn’t too keen on the idea of seeing the former football player in a WWE ring, especially if he hasn’t earned it.
Speaking with TMZ Sports, Lynch is asked about the rumors of Gronkowski potentially coming to WWE, to which she replies,
“Wouldn’t that be nice to never have done anything in wrestling and just go into Wrestlemania? I would love that.”
A little shade perhaps from Lynch.
She goes on to say,
“Some of us almost get fired and have to work our way and scratch and claw, and then we come to the main event. Other people are like here you go, here’s your debut match at Wrestlemania…see you at Wrestlemania.”
That comment is a not so veiled shot at Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey whom she faces along with Smackdown Live Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania.
Gronkowski has already appeared at one Wrestlemania at Wrestlemania 33 in 2017 when he helped his good buddy Mojo Rawley win the Andre The Giant Battle Royal.
Could we see Gronk at this year’s Wrestlemania or in the future?
Only time will tell.
