DAZN is changing its subscription services model.
Before it was pretty simple if you wanted to sign up it was $9.99 a month, but that is going away.
DAZN will update its pricing on March 25th, introducing a $99.99 annual pass as the new optimal payment option.
For the price of one evening’s pay-per-view, subscribers will have access to an entire year of live sports, archived classic fights and original programming.
Offering more than 100 fight nights a year, DAZN delivers international superstars including Canelo Alvarez, Anthony Joshua and Gennady Golovkin to its subscribers without charging fans for one-off events.
The annual pass lowers the average monthly cost to just over $8 a month.
DAZN’s free trial promotion will end as part of the pricing update.
If fans just want to watch one fight, DAZN will give them that fight – and all fights and programming in the 30 days that follow – for $19.99.
To best illustrate the value of the monthly option, if you were to sign up to DAZN on May 4th, for a fraction of one pay-per-view fight night, fans will get:
Canelo Alvarez vs. Daniel Jacobs
Semi-final of Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix
Anthony Joshua’s U.S. debut at Madison Square Garden
Live daily MLB action and much more
