R. Kelly is still facing 10 counts of aggravated sexual assault involving four underage girls and it looks like he might finally be brought to justice. He recently got his request for the $21,000 in monthly child support that’s owed to ex-wife Drea Kelly denied in court as well. He got arrested and put in jail this month for failing to pay $161,000 in total child support. He was soon bailed out with the help of some friends and family.
Andrea and three of R. Kelly’s children will appear on the new season of We TV’s Growing Up Hip-Hop Atlanta. It will be aired this summer. According to The Blast, Drea did not ask Kelly for permission about the kids coming onto the show. The three are Joann, Jay and Robert Jr.
Joann also goes by her singing stage name Buku Abi. Her career will be followed on the show but sources told The Blast that she has no interest in discussing R. Kelly on TV. She’s had minimal contact with him but he give her a happy birthday song this week on Twitter.
Drea Kelly also appeared on Lifetime’s ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ docuseries in January where she detailed the abuse she suffered at the hands of R. Kelly. In addition to Drea, T-Boz, Da Brat and Waka Flocka will also star on Growing Up Hip-Hop Atlanta.
