In the biggest blockbuster deal of the 2019 offseason, the Cleveland Browns (of all teams), shocked the world and traded for Odell Beckham Jr. Without question, this move will immediately give the Cardiac kids one of the most prolific receiving cores in all of football, and maybe even NFL history, as the Browns already have OBJ’s best friend, Jarvis Landry, lining up on the opposite side of the field.
According to ESPN, Browns will be sending the Giants a First, a Third, and S Jabril Peppers, in exchange for Odell’s service. Within seconds of landing the highest-paid WR of all time, the Browns’ odds to come out the AFC went to (7-1) aka only behind the Pats and the Chiefs.
Not to mention, Baker Mayfield was really starting to put some things together up there last year by the tail end, after the squad became the second NFL franchise to go winless in NFL history. It actually sounds strange to say, but there’s probably going to be a lot of Browns’ players coming off the draft boards early in fantasy football next season.
In a span of one calendar year, the Brownies went from 0-16, to Josh Gordon, to Hardknocks, to OBJ. Plus, don’t forget, the Browns just signed Kareem Hunt a couple of weeks ago. That’s an Oscar worthy film by all accounts. Flip the pages to see how Twitter is reacting/handling the news of OBJ getting traded to the Cleveland Browns.
