The NBA playoffs are about to start and we’re about 48 hours since Dwyane Wade hung up his jersey. Back on March 30, it was Wade’s final game at MSG. Knicks’ Emmanuel Mudiay saw an opportunity to ask for Wade’s jersey but Wade had already selected a player. Little did Mudiay know that he was getting one coming his way.
Dear Knicks fans, this season is finally over and perhaps a little R&R is needed in order to truly grasp what happened. But guess what? There’s terrific leadership in the house with head coach David Fizdale and this young team, as redundant as it sounds, has a lot of heart. One of those players is Mudiay, who is a clear fan favorite.
Wade must’ve made sure to make things right and of course, he’s one of the nicest guys in the league. Mudiay got a jersey after all.
