Gilbert Arenas is without a doubt one of the best scorers of all-time. He was remembered most for his tenure with the Wizards from 2003-2010 and his crazy end to his time in D.C. where he brought guns in the locker room. Nonetheless, he’s one of the most exciting players to ever do it.
Arenas recently said in an interview with Kristine Leahy on her talk show Fair Game that he made $62 million after his short time with the Magic from 2010-2011. He was amnestied by Orlando at the end of the NBA lockout in December 2011 but was still able to pocket all of those M’s and considers himself the GOAT for it.
“You know it was funny to me that when the media was laughing at me for getting amnestied, I’m like ‘do you know they’re going to cut me and give me all of my money’, so therefore I’m going to be able to get all my money without actually doing anything.”
