Parrots know how to say a lot of things but being trained not to snitch and knowing when the cops are coming is definitely unique. That was the case in the State of Paui in Brazil as cops took a parrot who was trained in the area to alert them whenever police were close, according to The Guardian.
The parrot was captured last week in a drug den which was operated by a couple. After it was captured, the parrot was supposedly quiet and didn’t say a word. A local vet named Alexandre Clark confirmed this by saying the animal refused to cooperate on anything asked.
“He must have been trained for this,” said an officer after the parrot was captured. “As soon as the police got close he started shouting.”
Loyalty is a trait this parrot obviously has. Don’t expect him to let anyone take a charge in his lifetime. Flip the page to check out the parrot in custody.
