The draft is tonight and downtown Nashville looks ready. So to pass the time until Roger Goodell strolls across that stage, take a look at BSO’s mock draft 3.0 before the action begins.
1. Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray, QB, Alabama
Kyler Murray is still the favorite to be selected at #1 overall despite some chatter that the Cardinals could look elsewhere.
2. San Francisco 49ers: Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio State
The 49ers need EDGE help desperately, plug in Bosa and watch this young 49ers defensive line start to wreak havoc a lot more than you see now.
3. New York Jets: Josh Allen, EDGE, Kentucky
The Jets have a large need at EDGE and fill that by selecting Josh Allen. They could decide on taking the best player available in Quinnen Williams as well.
4. Oakland Raiders: Quinnen Williams, iDL, Alabama
We’ve said this before, Quinnen Williams is arguably the best player in the draft. The Raiders nap him at 4 here.
5. Tampa Bat Buccaneers: Devin White, LB, LSU
The Bucs need LB help and quickly take Devin White to fill that need.
6. New York Giants: Ed Oliver, iDL, Houston
Now this could be a bit high for Oliver, but the Giants don’t seem to be moving towards selecting at QB at 6, so they settle on building their defense.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida
The Jags need offensive line help to protect newly signed QB Nick Foles.
8. Detroit Lions: TJ Hockenson, TE, Iowa
The Lions need help on the offensive side of the ball due to the departure of long time Lion Golden Tate.
9. Buffalo Bills: Rashan Gary, EDGE, Michigan
The Bills still need some wide receiver help, but they take Gary instead and continue building that strong defense.
10. Denver Broncos: Devin Bush, LB, Michigan
The Broncos need a long term option at QB, but John Elway loves doing things the wacky way.
