Last week, Lonzo Ball parted ways with his agent Harrison Gaines. It didn’t take long for him to bring on a new agent as today, he hired Creative Artists Agency to take on that position.
CAA’s roster being star-studded is an understatement. Among the athletes they have on board are Joel Embiid, Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul George, D’Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns.
“After thinking about this decision over the last few weeks, I concluded that CAA made the most sense for my career both on and off the court,” Ball said to ESPN in a statement today. “With CAA now in place to manage my basketball career, I can focus my attention and energy on training for the upcoming season.”
Ball is also suing former Big Baller Brand co-founder Alan Foster for at least $2 million for scamming him out of $1.5 million. ESPN added that at this point, it’s still unclear how him, and his brothers LiAngelo and LaMelo will move forward with BBB.
