There hasn’t been much trash talking between Terence Crawford and Amir Khan as these two professional boxers remain humble and focused.
Crawford, the soft-spoken Omaha born boxer, is the favorite in this match with an undefeated record going against British boxer Khan who repeatedly reminds fans of boxing that his four losses mean nothing.
“I’ve been in the game for a very long time,” Khan said at the final press conference, “I think people sometimes forget there’s only a year difference in age. I’ve won world titles before.” So he has and Crawford won’t take Khan slightly even though critics say it should be an easy win for the champ.
“I don’t overlook no opponent,” Crawford said.
“He’s going to box. Press the action. That’s how he fights,” Crawford said about Saturday’s fight.
Crawford’s 35-0 record holds 25 knockout wins which means 71% of his fights end in a knockout. 60% of Khan’s fights end in knockout as he holds a 33-4 record with 20 knockouts.
