21 Savage had some legal issues at the beginning of the year regarding him not being a U.S resident and actually being from the U.K. He was detained by ICE but was soon released after help from Jay Z. We’re seeing more rappers such as Kodak Black and NBA Youngboy get in trouble as well in 2019.
TMZ caught up with 21 to get his thoughts on Kodak’s situation. Kodak was arrested in Miami over a week ago during Rolling Loud weekend for state and federal gun charges for falsifying statements to get guns illegally. He is also being investigated for a shooting in his hometown of Pompano Beach, Florida in March as feds say fingerprints on a gun were traced to Kodak.
21 says he hopes for the best for Kodak and when asked if the feds are intentionally after rappers, he says that the law is the law. He added that rappers have to deal with the consequences, be more safe and make better decisions. Flip the page for his full thoughts on the Kodak situation.
