Cornerback Brandon Browner played in the NFL with his notable stint being with the Seahawks from 2011-2013. He also played with the Calgary Stampeders from 2006-2010. He’s serving eight years in prison now for attempted murder of his girlfriend.
Now, the woman is suing Browner for domestic violence incidents leading up to the attempted murder, according to TMZ Sports. She says the attacks happened between 2016-2018. Court documents state that she was hit in the face, knocked out unconscious, and suffered a carpet burn, and was almost killed in front of their kids.
In 2017, she was attacked on two separate occasions. She was picked up by her neck and slammed onto the ground which resulted in Browner chasing her in the street while she was in her underwear. The second incident was him punching her on her thigh repeatedly while she was sleeping.
In 2018, Browner broke into her home and pinned her down on a couch while stealing her phone and keys. In July of that same year, he broke into her home again with the incident of him trying to kill her in front of their kids. A month after that incident, Browner was facing domestic battery charges but they turned into attempted murder. He ended up pleading no contest to that charge along with two others. Why he only got eight years is a surprise though.
