The Los Angeles Rams still have a very bright future under head coach Sean Mcvay. But it’s very clear that they have a bit of ways to go before they can hoist up the Lombardi Trophy.
Sean McVay talked about his teams’ performance in the Super Bowl and provided an explanation to why it was so unlike the Rams we see dominate each and every Sunday.
In the back of my mind, [when making the Super Bowl game plan back in L.A.], I operated knowing I had another week. That urgency to completely finalize the gameplan wasn’t quite there, and that led to me watching so much film that you can almost water down your thought process.
I mean I get it. The process of dissecting film week to week in the NFL is hard enough. Now imagine having all the pressure on you of watching film and putting together a game plan on how to win the Super Bowl. Sounds easy enough, until you get to experience what that whole process is like.
But even then, that doesn’t excuse why the Rams offense, who was top 5 in the league in total offense, laid an egg and only scoring 3 points.
No excuse for that whatsoever, it doesn’t matter who the opposing coach is. If you have the talent and the staff to rbing out that talent, putting up 3 points in inexcusable.
No matter though, the Rams have a shot to make it to the big game once again.
