Terry Bradshaw is one of the best NFL QBs of all-time but he’s been catching heat lately for intensive comments made about actor Ken Jeong. He was at the Fox upfront presentation detailing a story about appearing on “The Masked Singer.”
Bradshaw said he was kicked off The Masked Singer by Alan Thicke and “the short little guy from Japan,” in reference to Jeong.
“I love to sing, as all of you know who have my records,” Bradshaw said to Michael Strahan. “Unfortunately, I was kicked off by Alan Thicke and the little short guy from Japan,” he said, referring to two of the show’s judges, Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong.
As many know, Jeong is Korean and not Japanese. After much criticism, Bradshaw issued an apology to Jeong and was aware of his own offensive comments. The apology also went out to the entire Asian community.
“I made an insensitive remark today about Ken, who I’ve known for some time. I’ve spoken to him about the importance of cultural respect and apologized for my offensive comments,” Bradshaw said Monday night in a statement to Variety. “I would like to also apologize to the Asian-American community for my insensitivity.”
Terry Bradshaw has known to make stereotypical comments in the past as well. In 2012, Reggie Bush made a huge play for the Dolphins and Bradshaw said Bush was chasing a bucket of chicken. Both of these comments weren’t good looks at all. Flip the page to check out that video from 2012.
