Let the trash talk commence.
Hours after Tyson Fury said Deontay Wilder can “suck my nuts” during a recent TMZ interview, Wilder responded back to Fury, claiming that Fury’s trash talk is weak. Considering that Wilder nearly knocked Fury out in their last fight before Fury pulled an Undertaker, there may be some truth to Wilder’s claims. Deontay stated the following during his interview:
“I gave him a memory loss to the point where he don’t know how he got on the ground, nor do he know how he got up!”
The two are back trading barbs once again now that Wilder is looking for another opponent after knocking out Dominic Breazeale in the first round this past weekend. Fury told TMZ Sports Monday he’s ready for a rematch, saying he’ll take on Wilder anytime, anywhere.
Wilder wasn’t sure he wants Fury to be his next fight, stating that his no. 1 goal is to be the undisputed heavyweight champ of the world, which would require Wilder to fight Anthony Joshua. A fight between Wilder and Joshua is something both sides clearly want, but have failed to properly negotiate so far.
Count me in for either fight, once we figure out who Wilder will fight next. In the meantime, Fury and Wilder’s trash talking will be entertaining.
