Kandi Burress of Xscape recently performed in NYC as part of her Welcome To The Dungeon Tour and brought out Brooklyn native legend Foxy Brown out to perform. Things didn’t go as planned at all during her set though. This all went down at Terminal 5 in Manhattan.
While Brown was performing her hit single “I’ll Be,” the crowd started booing her as they noticed she struggled rapping the song. When Burress heard the booing, she had Brown’s back as she said “Y’all gotta respect my girl. Let her take the mask off.” It’s tough being booed off stage when you’re a legend in your own city so as a hip-hop fan, this was tough to watch.
