Last week, 70-year-old racist Ruby Howell pulled a gun out on a black couple who were camping out by a lake in Starkville, Mississippi. She worked at the Kampgrounds of America and she harassed the couple by saying they needed reservations to camp. This was at the Oktibbeha County Lake.
The woman had made a Facebook post detailing how she was camping with her husband and their dog. They wanted to visit the lake and five minutes lady, Howell pulled up with the gun. Howell has now turned herself in to Oktibbeha County Police. She has since been fired from her job and is facing charges of a misdemeanor count of threatening exhibition of a weapon.
Howell ended up being released on $500 bail. She is due back in court on June 25. Hopefully she ends up back in jail. The gun was uncalled for and racial profiling definitely looked like it played a role in the confrontation. Flip the page for WCBI news video regarding the incident.
