There’s 16 more days until the NBA Draft and trade rumors and speculation will only get crazier from here. Teams in the top six will definitely explore options at trading their pick while some will simply stay put.
FS1’s Jason McIntyre recently reported that the Suns would trade the sixth overall pick for Lonzo Ball. He also added that the Bulls could be in the mix to trade the seventh pick for ball. According to Arizona Sports 98.7’s John Gambadaro, the Ball trade scenario for Phoenix isn’t likely at this point.
The Suns are supposedly not looking to trade their sixth pick for Ball or for a veteran point guard. Names that they could possibly go after in free agency though are Cory Joseph, Patrick Beverly, Darren Collison, and TJ McConnell. Phoenix was rumored to trade for Ball last season but that didn’t happen.
