It turns out Draymond Green didn’t travel across the country to check-in on fallen teammate Kevin Durant.

It sounds like Draymond Green might have spent Father’s Day in New York.The Warriors forward flew from San Francisco to the Big Apple this weekend and an NBA source told Marc Berman of the New York Post that Green had plans to visit with a recovering Kevin Durant.
“It’s his friend,’’ the source told The Post. “KD doesn’t have to be recruited by Draymond after being there three years.’’However, Draymond responded to the report on Instagram and denied that he was there visiting his injured teammate. Rather, Green says he was heading to the Hamptons for a friend’s engagement party.
