With Al Horford leaving a Kyrie possibly leaving. Celtics are looking for a player to fit the system an that’s ready to win. Karl Anthony Towns could be on the way to Celtics they now have the cap room, players, and picks to pull off the trade.
Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics have made such a major deal before (Kevin Garnet) an also trading a star player before in (Kevin Love). It’s gonna be an interesting off-season for the Celtics.
According to Hardwood Houdini, the Celtics could inquire about Karl-Anthony Towns. I don’t think the T-Wolves are ready to move on from KAT, but if they were to keep being fringe playoff contenders it might be something they consider in the future.
