Stephen Jackson Explains Why Kemba Walker Is Leaving Hornets For Celtics in Free Agency Based Off His Experience in Charlotte (Video)

Kemba Walker is expected to accept his max deal with the Celtics tomorrow when NBA free agency starts. This is after eight years of playing with the Bobcats/Hornets where he only saw two playoff appearances.

Stephen Jackson played in Charlotte for the Bobcats for two seasons from 2009-2011. He’s playing in Ice Cube’s BIG 3 league now and was recently asked about Walker’s situation regarding leaving Charlotte. Jackson says that he himself had the highest usage rate and that the team has a history of not appreciating their players. The Hornets didn’t offer Walker the super max deal available.

Jackson added that the Hornets not signing Walker shows that they don’t want to win and that he deserves his money. Flip the page to check out his full comments regarding Walker and the Hornets.
