Ezekiel Elliott still hasn’t reported to Dallas Cowboys training camp.
The Cowboys star RB is looking for a new contract extension and is currently in the midst of a holdout.
Elliott, according to Kevin Turner of 105.3 The Fan, is headed to Cabo San Lucas as he continues his holdout.
While the team and Elliott have continued talks, terms of a new deal haven’t been agreed upon yet.
Elliott, is looking to become one of the highest paid running backs in the NFL, making north of $10 million per season.
The former Ohio State Star will look to continue getting in shape as both sides appear eager to get something done soon.
Time is off the essence for Elliott to get a contract done before August 6th to ensure he accrues another season toward free agency.
Will Elliott and the Cowboys come to terms soon?
Only time will tell.
