As Nipsey sister Samantha Smith fight for guardianship of Emani it looks like Nipsey brother and mother are joining in the battle and ask to be co-guardian reported by the blast.
The blast got court documents and it state from recommendation of an attorney, they are requesting that Emani’s uncle, Samiel Asghedom (known as Blacc Sam), and Emani’s grandmother, Angelique Smith, “be appointed as co-guardians with Samantha Smith.
The documents also state the three have been “constant and strong presence in Emani’s life” since her upbringing since birth. The document also states Samiel and Angelique have been providing care for Emani since the unfortunate murder of her father.
The petition also said “The request to appoint Samiel and Angelique as co-guardians is, per the recommendation of Minor’s Counsel, a form of ‘insurance policy’ so that should anything happen to one of Emani’s guardians, other guardians are already in place to continue in providing for Emani’s care without having to return to Court.”
Nipsey Hussle baby mother Tanisha Foster is also fighting for custody to keep her child.
Tanisha argues that Samantha took Emani from her and she had no right to do so. She claims that the child interested is not being served because they refuse to let her see her daughter.
A follow-up meeting for this court hearing is set for July 15.
