BSO can report that the NFL tried to interview Tyreek Hill’s fiancee Crystal Espinal, but she wouldn’t cooperate with them.
They tried on numerous occasions to set up a meeting but it never happened. One could argue that based on the NFL’s history that Espinal should have been leery of the NFL, but without giving her own account of what happened it gave Hill an opportunity to just tell things from his side.
Another source tells us that Espinal didn’t want Hill to be suspended or kicked out of the league because he has and will continue to be her main financial support going forward (they have three kids together).
In regard to why the NFL didn’s suspend Hill for telling Espinal “you should be terrified of me b*tch”, I was told this investigation was purely about Hill’s son breaking his arm and nothing else. Since there was no evidence of domestic violence by the cops and with the full context of the secret recording, it was not something the NFL considered.
