Jerry West is perhaps the most important Laker in history. From being a player to an executive for them, West has a lot of love for the Lakers so it’s a little weird when he throws shots at them.
In a recent interview on the Dan Patrick show, The Logo talks about how great of an organization the other team in LA is.
“I’ve never been around any organization that is better than this one. That’s for sure.”
That kind of praise a little strange considering West has had a hand in 11 of the 16 Lakers championships and 3 of the Warriors titles. West did want to return and end his executive career with the Lakers and they went in another direction so that could be why he threw some shade at them. West could also genuinely think they’re the best organization he’s ever been with.
