During the off-season, All-Pro safety Earl Thomas was one of the hottest commodities. Thomas spent his first nine seasons in Seattle, but now he’s in Baltimore.
The exit from Seattle wasn’t pretty to say the least.
Thomas suffered a broken leg against the Arizona Cardinals and as he was carted off the field, he gave head coach Pete Carroll the bird. The reasoning was because he didn’t feel genuine concern from Carroll.
“I don’t regret my decision,” Thomas told ESPN’s Josina Anderson. “If my teammates felt like it was toward them, I regret that part. But I don’t regret doing that to Pete.”
Thomas continued.
“I gave Pete the middle finger because I felt like he wasn’t being honest with me,” Thomas said.
Baltimore travels to Seattle on Oct. 20.
