Let the scouting of Bronny James officially begin.
Let’s be fair, its not like, James, the son of three-time NBA champion, LeBron James, hasn’t been heavily scrutinized for his game already.
The eldest of James’ children is a budding basketball prodigy with aspirations of one day becoming an even better version of his famous father.
As Bronny James prepares for his high school basketball career at Sierra Canyon, prep scouting reports are already being released on the teenager’s game and what he could like at the high school level.
MaxPreps released its scouting report of James and offers an in-depth look at his potential playing time on a loaded Sierra Canyon team that will feature Zaire Williams, who is mulling offers from UNC and UCLA.
In the report, James will have a hard time earning playing time due to the loaded roster. Yet the report also preaches patience for the young star as he continues to grow into his game and earn time on the floor.
The report though didn’t keep the elder James from weighing in with his opinion on what type of player his son will be.
James took to Twitter to offer up his own scouting report on his son saying in part,
“…[James] will work hard, pay his dues, and when his number is called he’ll make mistakes like any kid but will be ready and coached very well.”
James clearly is protecting his son, as expectations are sky high, given the famous basketball pedigree James, Jr. comes from.
Regardless, it should be fun to watch young Bronny move through his high school career and beyond.
