It appears that Nipsey Hussle’s alleged killer is trying to mount a defense for himself as he faces charges for shooting the rapper.
Eric Holder, the man accused of shooting Hussle, is wanting his attorney to request all criminal investigative evidence against the rapper before he died.
This according to Blast.
The request comes after reports by the New York Times that Hussle had been under investigation by the LAPD before his untimely death.
The evidence being requested by Holder and his attorney includes, any video evidence, bodycam footage, surveillance video, along with,
“…any and all unredacted reports related to his arrest for any criminal offense or suspected criminal conduct, including…any and all information from all sources related to the gang affiliation, gang membership and participation in gang activities by the decedent…”.
These requests appear to be the start of Holder’s building of a defense to answer charges of his murdering Hussle, whenever his trial is scheduled to begin.
Holder was arrested on April 2nd and charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
Holder’s bond was set at $5 million and faces up to life in prison if found guilty.
