If you are a New York Knicks fan, you might not want to read past this periodt. According to Jalen Rose of ESPN, Kevin Durant was planning to sign with the Knicks, if not for a ruptured Achilles tendon. That’s right Knicks fans, you would have gotten your star! But instead, cursed for at least another year or until James Dolan relinquishes the helm.
As Rose goes on to say, Durant has been planning this move for quit some time. Going as far as relocating his company to NY. Even his doctors were NY based. Yet all of that was gone with one snap of a tendon. As all basketball fans know, he went on to sign with another NY team, the Brooklyn Nets. Joining another superstar, Kyrie Irving and friends, DeAndre Jordan and Caris LeVert. LeVert the lesser known than the other two, has actually been mentored by Durant. His nickname in college was “baby Durant.”
