The U.S. Women’s National Team in Soccer scored an amazing 2-0 win over the Netherlands in the World Cup final yesterday in France to win their second straight World Cup and their fourth in team history. They were led in this tournament by stars such as Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan.
Despite the women’s success, they are still very underpaid compared to the men’s team, which is sadly the case in other sports as well. The women get $90,000 each for this win but if the men won it all, they’d get $500k. Snoop Dogg took to social media to voice his concerns about this and bashed the huge gap in pay.
Snoop said the men’s team are sorry as s*it, won’t ever win s*it, and won’t get out of the first round of the World Cup. He added that the women need to be paid what they’re worth and winning four World Cups is evident of that. Snoop is right on the money with this one. They are definitely better than the men and continue to play like the dominant champions they are.
