The Titans hit the practice field for day #2 of training camp today in a once again, steamy Tennessee morning and afternoon.
I was there and saw some things that caught my eye
Here are 3 things that caught my eye today from Titans camp.
1. Jack Conklin, Derrick Henry, and AJ Brown Don’t Practice
While it was expected for the Titans to take things slow with Henry and Brown, the surprise was Conklin not suiting up for the majority of practice.
Titans head coach Mike Vrabel called the absence of Conklin “a maintenance day”.

There was no update on AJ Brown and Derrick Henry specifically from Mike Vrabel, but we did get some clarity on Henry’s injury situation from Terry McCormick of TitansInsider.com.
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry had his left foot placed in a walking boot after suffering an injury Friday on the first day of training camp, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. via TitansInsider.com
We’ll continue to monitor Derrick’s injury with more information when it’s available.
2. Anthony Ratliff-Williams Shines on Day 2
The trend of UDFA WRs making a name of their self continued today. Joseph Parker, out of the University of Chattanooga, had a nice day yesterday. Today, it was Anthony Ratliff-Williams, a UDFA WR out of UNC.
Williams made a couple of great catches today. One was a ball he went up and attacked on a fade route during the team period.
He even almost brought in a one handed catch against Kareem Orr, a DB out of Chattanooga.

Keep an eye out for his name as camp and preseason rolls on.
3. Delanie Walker Continues To Look Like His Old Self
Delanie Walker doesn’t look like a 34 year old TE coming off an ankle fracture.
Walker has continually looked like his old self, running around catching passes and racing down the field. Even getting down and dirty blocking Mike Vrabel in a drill.

If you had any type of doubts about Delanie Walker, you should drop them right now.
Quote of The Day
The quote of the day comes from Rashaan Evans. Who spoke on having an increased role on defense after injury slowed the first half of his rookie year.
“Just to continue to keep doing what I’ve been doing. Embracing the role, really understanding that you can get your spot taken at any time”
