Despite the majority of the country being excited that football is back, Saints fans are still looking for answers from the league for officials failure to call pass interference in last year’s playoff game against the LA Rams. Several of the Saints personnel as well as their fans feel the missed call robbed them of their opportunity to face the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
While most of the country is tuned into coverage of training camps and preparing to watch the Half of Fame game this Thursday, Saints fans have something else to look forward to as a Louisiana judge has ordered Commissioner Roger Goodell and NFL officials to answer questions regarding the controversial no-call.
APNews reports that Antonio LeMon, the attorney who filed this lawsuit, has stated that he will work with league attorneys to pick a mutually agreeable date for the depositions to take place. The depositions are tentatively scheduled to take place in September of this year. He is suing for $75k. He might win because everyone in the state of Lousiana feels like they have been wronged.
I wish people cared more about legit issues that are going on in our country, but alas here we are.
