Jimmy Butler finally went on record stating the sole reason he joined the Miami Heat. That reason was his love for Dominos.
Playing Dominos in Little Havana caught Jimmy Buckets heart, and from that point, Jimmy canceled the remaining of his visits with other NBA franchises.
Along with playing Dominos, Jimmy revealed the winning culture in Miami was a pivotal factor as well.
According to the Miami Herald, during a road trip game, while Jimmy was still playing for the 76ers, Jimmy visited a Dominos park in Little Havana.
Ironically, with enough knowledge of the game, Jimmy picked up a win on double-six set which was his style of playing dominos. Spoiler alert; he convinced the players at the park to play his style versus the double-nine set style they were used to playing.
Jimmy may not say it, but let’s be honest, 80-degree weather on South Beach in December, with the Cuban cigars and Spanish mamis beats 17 degrees with a 6-degree wind chill any day in my book.
