Just to put this PSA out there for those that don’t already know. If you spend more time on twitter than you do playing basketball you’re probably not good enough to play basketball professionally. Or to make it even easier, if you have to brag about making 10 jumpers in a row there’s a chance Steve Kerr won’t be texting you for a 10-day tryout.
Recently, Kevin Durant in his abundance of free time took to social media to make a very simple point clear. If anyone can’t make 7 jumpers from the elbow in a row the sports world will now be deeming them “unqualified” to talk about the game of basketball.
Of course, the internet won’t let something like that slide. Insert stage left twitter user @kingshaundiz that wanted KD and the rest of the world that he accomplished this task and the perennial All-Star needed to take note.
Luckily, KD is in the middle of one of the longer rehab processes in existence (recovering from the ruptured Achilles he suffered in the most recent NBA Finals), so he decided to jump in and erase all of this poor man’s dreams with one quick tweet.
Flip the page to see the damage for yourself. Avert your eyes if you don’t want to see a dead body.
