Football is back, but we might have to wait to see Cowboys running back Ezekial Elliott on the field.
Elliot and the Cowboys are at a standstill when it comes to contract negotiations. NFL Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson went on FS1’s Undisputed to talk about what Elliot’s agent said to him.
Dickerson said from his talks with Elliot’s agent, it’s more than a little possibility that Elliot could miss a few games.
I talked to Zeke’s agent yesterday, and he said, ‘It’s possible. It really is possible he will miss some games.’ He wants to play, but this is business. Zeke’s the best player on that football team. If he misses four weeks, I guarantee you they’ll probably win 1.”
If the Cowboys don’t bring Elliot his money, he might not be on the field for the foreseeable future.
