We finally got a release date.
During Disney’s D23 Expo on Saturday, Kevin Feige and Ryan Coogler took to the stage to formally announce the release date for Black Panther 2.
We can expect T’Challa, Shuri and company to grace our movie screens on May 6, 2022.
“We’re really hard at work on it trying to give you something special,” director Ryan Coogler told the audience, per Polygon. “We’re gonna take our time; we want it to be right.”
That’s a pretty long wait. However, if the story is as good (or even better) than the first Black Panther movie, I think fans will be fine with the time in between.
