On July 4, Dolphins Defensive Tackle Kendrick Norton lost his arm in a car crash after losing control of his truck. His girlfriend Kira was also in it but wasn’t severely injured. Norton was ended up being released from the team as he was a seventh round pick by Miami in 2018.
Norton is now posting videos to YouTube about life now after the incident. He shows how he cleans the wound in his arm and wants to do it by himself as opposed to having a nurse come to the house everyday. Norton added that he’s staying strong and isn’t thinking too much about it as he said that there’s no point in being sad as there’s still stuff to be done.
Norton says his recovery has been going well and doesn’t feel much pain from the crash. He knows the process is slow in doing his everyday routine but is having a positive attitude about the situation. He added that he motivates himself to get around and not cry about the situation.
Big props to Norton for persevering and not letting adversity get the best of him. His girlfriend has done an amazing job of being so supportive of him too. Flip the page to check out the video of him discussing life after the car crash and cleaning his amputated arm.
