Could Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao be set for a rematch?
According to ‘Money’ Mayweather himself, he and Pacquiao could be meeting in boxing ring…in Saudi Arabia.
Video of Mayweather has surfaced, via Michael Benson of talkSport.com, on social media of him announcing travel plans to set up and discuss a potential rematch with the now current WBA Welterweight champion of the world.
Pacquiao, 62-7-2-0 (39 KO), defeated Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman back in late July to claim his latest championship.
Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather, 50-0, has not fought a professional fight since TKO’ing Conor McGregor back in August of 2017.
A rematch between Mayweather and Pacquiao, if nothing else, would make headlines.
If their rematch can be better than what they produced in May 2015 fight, a fight in which Mayweather won by unanimous decision, then fans may be interested.
With Pacquiao beating one of the most talented welterweights currently and Mayweather potentially looking for something to prove, this fight could happen.
Only time will tell.
