The XFL has signed its first quarterback.
The XFL announced Thursday that the league has signed former Pittsburgh Steelers QB Landry Jones.
The former Oklahoma Sooners star was a backup in the NFL for six seasons.
It is unknown at this time which of the eight franchises Jones will ultimately play for.
The XFL kicks off in February 2020.
